Aluminum cases now available on GSA Advantage! website
Charlotte, NC – ZARGES, a leading manufacturer and distributor of aluminum cases, is proud to announce that they have been awarded a Schedule 81 I B contract by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), the procurement arm of the Federal government. Schedule 81 I B includes all shipping, packaging and packing supplies.
The five-year contract, GS-02F-074BA, allows for Federal customers to efficiently purchase ZARGES products, including the K470 aluminum shipping and storage case. The GSA establishes long-term, government-wide contracts with commercial vendors to streamline and standardize the process of procuring products and services for the entire Federal government. ZARGES’ inclusion as a GSA Schedule 81 vendor enables all government agencies to obtain products at approved pricing and with license terms from a trusted vendor.
ZARGES K470 is also part of the Disaster Recovery Purchasing program, making it available for purchase by State and local government entities in accordance with Section 833 Disaster Recovery Purchasing.
The K470 aluminum shipping and storage case is ATA 300 approved, lightweight, rugged, water resistant, and may be UN Certified for hazardous goods transport. Available in 25 standard sizes, the K470 provides perfect protection for everything you need to take along – even under extreme conditions. IP 54 protection is standard, and IP 65 is available. A wide variety of accessories are available as well as custom foam linings and custom sizes to order.
“This is a great opportunity for us, streamlining the process for both us and our customers, and facilitating the lowest costs for purchase and delivery,” said Ryan Meaux, ZARGES Operations Manager.
